Continuances
If you need to continue a hearing, contact the assigned paralegal who will put you in contact with the attorney assigned to the case. Be certain to advise the paralegal of your available dates. Normally there will be no objection to the continuance of a first setting. The assigned paralegal may be able to determine whether or not CSS is going to object to a requested continuance. You should keep in mind that CSS does not represent either parent in these proceedings and the agreement by the CSS attorney to a continuance does not mean that the other parent will not object.
